Today, we’re deeply committed to celebrating our differences and diversity to cultivate a culture where every employee can reach their full potential. We firmly believe our focus on local employees and communities drives our global growth.
Potential is distributed equally. Opportunity is not. That’s why the NCR Foundation is relentlessly focused on advancing STEAM education, bringing opportunities to students in underserved communities and serving our communities in times of disaster: to create and widen more opportunities for more students since our Foundation got started in 1953. We partner, invest and volunteer to make our communities and our world a better place.
Since our founding, NCR has always been focused on - and will always be focused on - our shared values. This focus has been at the core of our success for 130+ years, allowing us to make an impact on banking and commerce every single day. That way, companies better connect, interact and transact with customers.
Our commitment to diversity starts at the top and is deeply integrated throughout our organization and shared values. We’re committed to being a globally inclusive company where all people are treated fairly, recognized for their individuality, promoted based on performance and encouraged to strive for their full potential.
We believe in understanding and respecting differences among all people. This encompasses (but isn’t limited to) human differences of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, culture, religion, ability and diversity of thought.
Every person at NCR has an ongoing responsibility to respect and support a globally diverse environment.
We anchor our entire talent life cycle around our shared values, DE&I statement and competency model. Through this cycle, we aim to attract and recruit, hire and onboard, develop and train, manage performance and engage and reward diverse and inspired employees.
We take pride in providing our employees with the opportunities they need to feel connected, challenged, supported and heard. We provide several employee development and engagement programs, including:
Health and safety are top priorities at NCR. We’re deliberate in designing programs that protect our employees, while also mitigating potential workplace incidents that could arise. We’re also proactive in enforcing all applicable occupational health and safety regulations, laws and policies across our global footprint.
NCR employees are always encouraged to speak up and report any concerns of wrongdoing through the multiple, independent avenues that NCR provides to report ethical concerns. Employees can report concerns to their management teams, local human resources or legal departments or directly to the company-wide Ethics and Compliance Office. Employees can also make anonymous reports via the NCR Alert line, available 24/7, or contact NCR's Ethics & Compliance Office.
