Some markets are still in complete lockdown. Many have restricted restaurants to takeout and delivery only. Others are loosening restrictions to allow restaurants to reopen for dine-in. In markets where stay-at-home orders are being lifted, various safety recommendations have been put in place, from taking customer temperatures at the door, to requiring employees to wear masks and gloves, to reducing tables by 50% or more to increase physical distancing.
To help restaurants navigate this new way of operating, we’ve created a new content series titled, “Reopening Your Restaurant: What You Need to Know.” The goal is to provide practical, helpful guidance and considerations for restaurants that were partially or fully closed down during the pandemic, and are now starting to think about reopening.
