We are excited to share the news with you that NCR Corporation and Cardtronics today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to combine our two companies.

This transaction will provide many benefits to our respective customers. The merger will enable us to accelerate our NCR-as-a-service strategy, will give us new products we can provide and help us further expand the scope and scale of our service across banking, retail and hospitality.

Cardtronics’ debit network is highly complementary to NCR’s payments platform and will enable the combined company to seamlessly connect retail and bank customers while enhancing our ATM as a Service, Cash Management and managed service offerings.

The transaction is expected to close mid-year 2021, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. We have put together a team to drive a successful integration, and we will work diligently to ensure there is no disruption. As always, we will put our customers first.
