NCR provides NY & LA Veteran’s Day Parade with self-service kiosks

NCR’s self-service software developed especially for Veterans

DULUTH, Ga., Nov. 14, 2016 – NCR today announced it provided 4 self-service kiosks to both the New York and Los Angeles Parade committees to assist Veteran’s during the event. The kiosks allowed individuals to refer themselves or family members for services that connects veterans, service members, and military families with services, resources and care through a coordinated network of organizations.

“Our goal is to extend the Department of Veterans Affairs outreach, and leverage existing VA services provided by non-profit veterans’ organizations and agencies, as well as existing Veteran’s programs like My Healthy Vet and Tricare,” said Stan Ratcliffe, President, NCR Government Solutions. “The kiosk also includes links to assist Vets to search for jobs.”

In development for more than a year, this innovative Veterans Kiosk provides a point-of-service for all veterans and their spouses and dependents, via NCR’s world-class self-service technology.
