Ruth Fornell

SVP, Global Professional Services

Ruth Fornell is Senior Vice President of Global Professional Services for NCR Corporation. In this role, she leads a team of 3,000+ professionals and is responsible for professional services consultants and delivering technical and business consulting services worldwide. 

In 1985, Fornell started her career with NCR as a pricing analyst. Since then, she has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility. Her experience spans sales, strategy development, marketing and services. She has held two international assignments, including director of worldwide marketing programs for financial products based in Dundee, Scotland, and region sales leadership for Europe/Middle East/Africa based in London. Fornell also served as the director of strategy, and later the chief marketing officer of Teradata.

Other senior leadership roles include executive assistant to NCR’s Chairman and CEO, with responsibility for strategy development and executive communications; vice president and general manager of NCR Payment & Imaging Solutions; vice president of NCR Financial Services for Europe; and vice president of NCR Financial Services Software and Professional Services.

Fornell was a member of the Executive Board for the Technology Services Industry Association. She was co-director of the Teradata Center for Customer Relationship Management at Duke University and a member of the board of trustees for the Marketing Science Institute. She was honored in 2016 as on of Georgia's Most Powerful & Influential Women of 2016 by the Georgia Diversity Council.
