One of the most reputable business magazines in the United States recently decided to explore which companies were providing employees with the best situations in an increasingly competitive job market. Forbes, in partnership with Statista.com, figured the best way to do this was to go right to the source. They surveyed more than 20,000 American workers spanning large U.S. companies, nonprofits, government agencies and U.S. divisions of multinationals.
The question was simple: on a scale of 0-10, how likely would you be to recommend your employer to someone else? In the end, workers at 500 companies, across 25 distinct industries, stepped up to have their voices heard and to endorse their employer. NCR is extremely proud to be among the global tech companies making the list. We are also thrilled to help represent our home state alongside the other Georgia companies recognized this year.
While winning awards and being recognized in markets across the world is always an honor for NCR, making the “America’s Best Employers 2015” list is extra special. With this, our employees have shared the pride they feel for working at NCR and that is simply one of the greatest compliments we can receive. This accolade is really about, and for, all 30,000+ employees that live our values every day and make NCR a great place to work.
This recognition comes at an exciting time in NCR’s history. Recently, we celebrated NCR’s 130 years of service and innovation as well as a decade of reinvention under our CEO Bill Nuti. We’ve also announced plans to create a new world headquarters campus in midtown Atlanta that we believe will help us continue to inspire employees, excite customers and attract amazing talent for years to come.
NCR is a very different company today than it was even just a few short years ago. We have emerged as the global leader in Consumer Transaction Technologies, enabling more than 550 million transactions every day across multiple industries and in the process helping to run global commerce. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to consider joining our team.
