Everyday recruitment

This section will give you an overview of our recruitment process - so you can get a handle on what to expect. Of course every application is unique - so there may be differences to this process from time to time.

1) Search for Jobs

We advertise all of our vacancies on our careers pages. You can find them all on search and apply pages. If you see a role that would be perfect for a friend – you can share it easily using the ‘share’ button’.

2) Register with our recruitment system

We’re a global company and we recruit in over 100 countries so we use a system that makes recruitment easier to manage. The NCR recruitment system allows you to build your own career profile and upload your CV / resume easily. You can sign up to receive emails about new roles that match your criteria. NCR recruiters can search the system for candidates who match vacancies and then contact them directly. That’s why it’s important to register and take time creating your profile.

3) Apply for jobs

Once you’ve registered you can apply to work for NCR right away. You can search by location, field and view jobs that match your candidate profile. You can save jobs in a ‘jobs cart’ so you can return and apply at a time that suits you. Depending on the role you apply for, you may be asked to complete a brief online assessment as part of your application. Once you’ve applied for a role, we’ll always send you an email confirming that we’ve received your application – do make sure you check your ‘junk’ account just in case it ends up there.

4) Telephone interview

Our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and, if successful, arrange a time to call you for an initial chat about your application and to answer any questions you have about the vacancy.  We might need you to fill in a brief online assessment but don’t worry – we’ll let you know in advance what you need to do.

5) Face to face interview

The next stage involves interviews with the line manager and members of the team you’ve applied to join. We'll invite you to come into our offices and check out the location you’ll be working at.

6) Offer

We’ll give you call to let you know the good news – then we’ll send you an offer in writing explaining everything and suggesting a date you join us. We'll may also need to do some final verification checks – then we’re all set.
