At NCR, we understand the power of diversity. We’re committed to achieving inclusion and equity in everything we do. We take pride in striving to create a workplace that reflects the employees, customers and communities we serve.

Our dedication to diversity starts at the top and is deeply integrated throughout our organization and shared values. We’re committed to being a globally inclusive company where all people are treated fairly, recognized for their individuality, promoted based on performance and encouraged to strive for their full potential. 

In 2020, we appointed our new Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) leader to oversee NCR’s DE&I programs and goals. Our progress to date includes:

  • Creation of a Global Inclusion Council to champion enterprise-wide DE&I efforts
  • Launching DE&I education programs focusing on civil treatment and unconscious bias training for leaders
  • Driving workforce diversity guidance programs, which includes a quarterly DE&I learning and speaker series

Our business resource groups

We take very seriously our responsibility to shape an inclusive workplace culture. That’s why we support and encourage our colleagues to expand their professional networks through business resource groups and mentorship programs. 

Business resource groups give our employees the opportunity to learn from one another and develop inclusive personal and professional connections. Our business resource groups include:

An internal organization that provides unique opportunities for professional, educational, cultural and economic development to all levels of Black employees and allies.
The employee group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees and allies, celebrating who they are while networking and championing the LGBTQIA+ communities' human rights in the workplace. United strives to support and educate NCR employees across the globe, for members inside and outside of the LGBTQIA+ community.
A global network of thought leaders and advocates providing NCR women with opportunities to connect and interact—at home, at work or in our communities.

Mentorship programs are also an integral element in building an equitable workplace culture. We support formal mentorship programs through our business resource groups and key business units.

Supplier diversity program

Local businesses that spur economic development, stimulate job creation and generate growth are the foundation of our global communities.

Our supplier diversity program supports these communities, recognizing the need for and benefits of investing in diverse local businesses. It reinforces the growth of small businesses, as well as minority, women and veteran-owned business enterprises (MWDVBE,) by giving them the opportunity to participate as suppliers and subcontractors of goods and services.
