Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship & Storytelling (IDEAS) powers life at NCR

At NCR, we understand the power of IDEAS. We’re committed to achieving inclusion, diversity, equity, allyship and storytelling in everything we do. We take pride in creating a workplace that reflects the employees, customers and communities we serve.

Every individual at NCR has an ongoing responsibility to respect and support a globally diverse and inclusive environment.

NCR is committed to being a globally inclusive company where all people are treated fairly, recognized for their individuality, promoted based on performance and encouraged to reach their full potential. We believe in understanding and respecting the uniqueness of all people. This includes human differences concerning race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, culture, religion, ability and background and perspectives.

Our business resource groups

We take very seriously our responsibility to shape an inclusive workplace culture. That’s why we support and encourage our colleagues to expand their professional networks through business resource groups and mentorship programs.

Business resource groups give our employees the opportunity to learn from one another and develop inclusive personal and professional connections. Our business resource groups include:

The Armed Forces Alumni Association at NCR as a community of service members, military veterans and supporters worldwide. Established in 2021, we are passionate about networking, professional development and partnering with our communities.
NCR’s Black Professional Forum is an organization dedicated to helping NCR build a culture of diversity and inclusion where a wide range of perspectives help bring courageous new ideas to the real world.
United is NCR’s business resource group dedicated to serving NCR associates who identify as representatives or allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. Reimagined in 2019, United’s mission is simple: build and support a culture of diversity and inclusion through fostering a sense of belonging and pride. United aims to support individuals for not only being who they are, but also for celebrating who they are.
Women in NCR (WIN) is a global network of thought leaders and advocates providing employees at NCR opportunities to connect and interact, making every day easier, at home, at work and in the community. WIN members lead by example to support NCR in becoming a diverse, inclusive and equitable place for all to thrive and succeed.

Mentorship programs are also an integral element in building an equitable workplace culture. We support formal mentorship programs through our business resource groups and key business units.

Making an impact in our communities

We work every day to make an impact and drive equity for our employees, customers, partners and the communities where we live and work around the world.

How we’re doing our part:

Supplier diversity program

Local businesses that spur economic development, stimulate job creation and generate growth are the foundation of our global communities.

Our supplier diversity program supports these communities, recognizing the need for and benefits of investing in diverse local businesses. It reinforces the growth of small businesses, as well as minority, women and veteran-owned business enterprises (MWDVBE,) by giving them the opportunity to participate as suppliers and subcontractors of goods and services.
