Advanced Post is fully internationalized, and supports a wide variety of input and peripheral devices. A key architectural feature of the Advanced Post solution is that it is designed to comply with modern distributed computing standards and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) best practices.
The NCR Advanced Post mobile client is designed to run on modern Windows-based mobile platforms, including tablet PCs and wireless mobile terminals. The Advanced Post mobile client can run either as a Web client or as a full terminal connected to the in-store server. The mobile client provides full peripheral support. Many tablets include MSRs and barcode readers, and can interface with wireless receipt and label printers, and Bluetooth® connected postal scales.
