The NCR RealPOS Low Profile Bi-Optic Scanner/Scale incorporates NCR's Optical Effects Technology, featuring a cutting-edge design that drives more scan lines at greater lengths to dramatically improve performance. This extensive scan coverage and higher performance read rate provides an overall productivity boost for all POS scanner users - novice and experienced.

The cashier interface offers a customizable scan adviser leveraging five bright LED's, which lets the cashier know when the scanner is ready and if the scan was successful. The use of peripheral vision, colors and patterns is also ideal for hearing impaired cashiers.

Improved operational efficiency

The POS scanner includes many features designed to improve serviceability and provide greater configuration flexibility and investment protection to reduce total cost of ownership.  Scan Doctor software aids in fixing problems and the support of Sensormatic® Ultra•Max® Deactivator 5274 technology enables deactivation of antitheft tags.
