Three customers vie for Self-Service Excellence Award in Travel/Hospitality, Healthcare categories
DULUTH, GA – NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) will exhibit in booth #301 at the KioskCom Self-Service Expo and The Digital Signage Show, held April 14-15, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The exhibit will include demonstrations of NCR Netkey kiosk applications including Deli Ordering, Endless Aisle E-Commerce, Gift Registry, Guided Selling and Customer Loyalty, as well as digital signage-focused content, including a Digital Signage Wayfinding application for the healthcare industry. Also on display will be the NCR MediKiosk Patient Check-in system from NCR Healthcare Solutions.
Additionally, NCR Netkey will highlight the latest version of the NCR Netkey digital signage solution, which helps companies connect better with their customers by simplifying content management, delivering richer content and supporting Microsoft Windows 7 for Embedded Systems.
Three customers of NCR Corporation (US Airways, Carnival Cruise Lines and Conifer Health Solutions) are also finalists for the Self Service Excellence awards, recognizing companies in various industries that have achieved significant operational results from a self-service solution. Finalists Carnival Cruise Lines uses the NCR Netkey Guided Selling application, Conifer Health Solutions uses the NCR MediKiosk and Patient Portal self-service solutions and US Airways uses NCR TouchPort self-service kiosks. The awards, which honor both the deploying companies and the technology providers, will be presented in a ceremony on April 14.
In addition, NCR Netkey customer Hot Topic joins “R” Us Operations (Toys “R” Us/Babies “R” Us) in a session, “What is the True Cost of your Deployment – a Discussion of the Total Cost of Ownership” on Thursday, April 15 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. NCR Netkey customer Healthy Advice Networks will join NCR Netkey General Manager Dusty Lutz for another session, “How to Build a Sustainable Digital Signage Network – Best Practices, Know-How and Strategies” on Thursday, April 15 from 1:30 – 2:15 p.m.
