Delaware Country Bank and Trust: An NCR Intelligent Deposit Case Study

 

The customer

The Delaware County Bank and Trust Company is a $700 million community bank headquartered in Lewis Center, Ohio. They operate 19 branches in Delaware, Union and Franklin counties. Chartered in 1950, it is a full service community bank, offering a wide range of banking solutions to the residents of central Ohio.

The challenge

TheBank recognized that in order to migrate customers from envelope deposit and the teller counter, it would involve educating customers as to the merits of automated Intelligent Deposit at the ATM.

TheBank was the first First Data customer to adopt Intelligent Deposit. This presented a challenge as the NCR APTRA™ Edge software solution had to provide a unique identifier to operate across the First Data network.
