Located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, Cosmos Café is an eclectic eatery with locations in Ballantyne Village and Uptown offering nightly dinner features as well as mezes and tapas from around the world. In addition to their diverse continental menu, Cosmos offers a Microcosm Art Gallery and Thirsty Camel Lounge geared toward providing an upscale and relaxing experience for their guests. Whether it’s a quick business lunch, gourmet dinner or late-night drink, Cosmos Café strives to provide their patrons with a memorable dining experience.
The challenge
Cosmos Café experienced issues for many years with its hardware and software point-of-sale (POS) system. An increasingly high volume of customer traffic at night taxed the system, causing it to often freeze up and slow service to customers.
The restaurant needed a solution that would add efficiency to the business and allow the servers and bartenders to spend more time in front of patrons, adding onto orders and enhancing the overall customer experience.
