CMAC Arequipa: An NCR Case Study

 

The customer

CMAC Arequipa started operation in 1986 as a municipal savings and loan institution, 100% owned by the municipality of Arequipa, a region in the southwestern part of Peru. Since then CMAC Arequipa has grown steadily, particularly during the late 1990s, and today provides credit and deposit services to 400,000 micro entrepreneurs and saving accounts in 47 branches in Peru.
