William Nuti

President, CEO and Chairman

Bill Nuti is President, CEO and Chairman of NCR Corporation. NCR is the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, enabling more than 550 million transactions daily across retail, financial, travel, hospitality, telecom and technology, and small business. Bill is highly respected for his leadership skills and acclaimed for his vision and expertise in transforming and reinventing companies for sustainable and profitable growth.

Since joining NCR in 2005, Bill has orchestrated one of the most successful business reinventions in recent history, while transforming the way consumers connect, interact and transact with business. With over a century of legacy and culture at its back, Bill made critical decisions to reinvent NCR over the long term, including shifting the core business model of NCR from hardware to more software and SaaS, spinning-off Teradata, moving the company’s headquarters to Georgia, building a global manufacturing network in five countries, acquiring several high-growth companies in the software and SaaS space, and expanding into new markets, adjacencies and underpenetrated emerging markets.

Bill’s vision to build a best-in-class global organization has not gone unnoticed. He has been heralded by government officials and news organizations for creating advanced manufacturing jobs in the United States. Under Bill’s leadership, NCR built America’s first retrofitted manufacturing facility to receive LEED® certification for environmental sustainability, creating hundreds of jobs in the state of Georgia in the process. Throughout his tenure, NCR has been recognized for its humanitarian contributions with the Red Cross Good Neighbor Award and its commitment to employee training and development with the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) BEST Award.

Prior to joining NCR as CEO in 2005, Bill served as president and CEO of Symbol Technologies. He led a challenging and highly successful turnaround of Symbol, returning the company to profitability for the first time in five years, and increasing revenue growth by 24% from 2002 to 2004. In 2005, he was recognized as the “Best Turnaround Executive” by the American Business Awards.

Bill joined Symbol following more than 10 years at Cisco Systems, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, advancing to the dual role of senior vice president of the company’s Worldwide Service Provider Operations and senior vice president of U.S. Theater Operations, responsible for more than $15 billion of Cisco’s global revenue stream. Prior to that, Bill served as Cisco’s president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and before that, vice president of the Asia/Pacific region.

Bill is a frequent speaker at high-profile business and technology events. He also is an established enterprise and business policy leader in Washington, D.C., where he founded a CEO policy forum on tax reform and competitiveness. He also spoke at the White House Forum on “Strategy for American Innovation.”

He is a member of the Georgia Institute of Technology advisory board, a Long Island University trustee and serves on the board of directors for United Continental Holdings and Coach, Inc. Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Long Island University.

Bob Fishman

SVP, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer

Bob Fishman is SVP, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer reporting directly to Bill Nuti. His last role was Vice President and Corporate Controller for NCR.

Bob has been with NCR for 16 years and has held a number of financial positions including Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, Vice President Corporate Planning, CFO of Payment Solutions, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Director of EMEA Planning and Pricing.

Prior to joining NCR, Bob spent seven years with Price Waterhouse in Toronto, England, and Germany. Bob has an HBA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Bob is a Chartered Accountant from Canada and a CPA. He has also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the Association for Investment Management and Research.

Rick Marquardt

EVP, Services, Hardware Solutions and Enterprise Quality

Rick Marquardt is EVP, Services, Hardware Solutions and Enterprise Quality. NCR Services is comprised of more than 11,000 service professionals serving customers on a 24x7x365 basis in more than 90 countries around the world. Marquardt is responsible for all of NCR’s global support services including its outsourced and managed service offerings as well as service delivery and service enablement across NCR’s target industries and markets.

In addition, Marquardt is responsible for NCR’s Global Operations which manages product sales and operations planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and customer fulfillment and includes service parts planning and execution functions. Global Operations has a robust presence around the world – managing five distribution centers, 48 country central warehouses, 160 global repair centers and six manufacturing plants.

Marquardt also leads NCR’s highly innovative Hardware Solutions group responsible for influence and impact on the entire end-to-end life of NCR products and solutions. And, as NCR’s Chief Quality Officer, Marquardt is also responsible for NCR’s Enterprise Quality and Customer Experience/Continuous Improvement (CX/CI) efforts throughout the company.

Marquardt joined NCR in 2006. He has held roles at the company including Senior Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain; Senior Vice President of Global Operations; Vice President of Manufacturing for NCR and Vice President of Global Operations for NCR’s Financial Industry Business Unit.

Prior to joining NCR, Marquardt worked for Motorola Corporation, where he held several leadership positions in operations and manufacturing, including a four-year assignment in Taiwan and a one-year assignment in Mexico, managing operations with an excess of $1B spend annually.

Andrea Ledford

SVP, Corporate Services and Chief Human Resources Officer

Andrea Ledford is SVP, Corporate Services and Chief Human Resources Officer for NCR Corporation. She oversees critical functions that drive change management and support NCR’s corporate strategy as a hardware-enabled, software-driven business. Her global responsibilities include Corporate Marketing, Corporate Real Estate, Global Security, Aviation and Human Resources. Prior to this position, Ledford served as NCR’s vice president of Human Resources for the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Before joining NCR in February 2006, Ledford was Symbol Technologies’ EMEA leader of Human Resources and held a variety of leadership roles at Cisco Systems in EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. Her background also includes positions in the areas of international human resources, compensation and benefits, and leadership development with Storage Technology, United International Holdings and Synergen.

Ledford holds an Executive MBA from Insead University in Fontainebleau, France and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Colorado.

Michael Bayer

SVP, President, NCR Retail

As SVP, President, NCR Retail, Michael Bayer is responsible for the strategy, thought leadership, go to market, and innovation behind NCR’s hardware-enabled, software-driven solutions for global retail markets.

NCR has developed a powerful ecosystem of digital services,innovative apps, and cloud-based solutions that take shopper engagement to the next level, empowering retailers to personalize customer interactions in real-time. The Retail line of business contributes more than $2 billion in revenues annually with an emphasis on three segments: Food, Drug and Mass Merchant; Petroleum& Convenience Retail and Department and Specialty Retail, complemented by a complete line of warehouse and back office optimization software. NCR is the leader in self-checkout shipments with a total of 71 percent share according to strategic research and consulting firm RBR, and the second largest provider of point-of-sale solutions in the world.

An expert in communications technology, Bayer has held leadership roles at companies such as Motorola, Symbol Technologies and Cisco Systems, most recently as President of Global Growth Markets for Avaya, a global provider of business communications, and collaboration systems. In this role, Bayer worked with businesses of all sizes to help them adopt cutting-edge communications, networking solutions and collaboration technologies. Prior to this Bayer served as Avaya’s EMEA President, where he led the region’s sales and operations and worked with customers to deliver Unified Communications, IP Telephony and Contact Center solutions across EMEA.

Bayer holds a Master’s Degree in electronics and telecommunications from Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt.

Andrew S. Heyman

SVP, President, NCR Financial Services

Mr. Heyman currently serves as SVP, President, NCR Financial Services for NCR Corporation. Heyman leads NCR’s global Financial Services business, including global product management, solution development, sales and marketing, customer support, and global account management.

Mr. Heyman joined NCR as part of the Radiant Systems acquisition in 2011, where he previously held a variety of key leadership positions, including chief operating officer and president of the hospitality division across fifteen years with Radiant. Heyman served as a senior manager with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) from 1987 to December 1995. He holds a M.S. degree in computer information systems from Georgia State University and a B.B.A. in finance from the University of Georgia.

Andy has been involved with the arts community for the last ten years both as a board member of Atlanta Celebrates Photography and as a partner in Jackson Fine Art.
