NCR Introduces Ultra-Compact Self-Service Kiosk

NCR EasyPoint™ Advantage self-service kiosk offers small footprint, flexibility and enhanced serviceability to fit nearly any retail environment

January 11, 2007
ATLANTA – With a depth of less than three inches and a weight of 11 pounds, the NCR EasyPoint Advantage , introduced today by NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), is built to provide retailers with a versatile, yet ultra-compact self-service kiosk solution.

Designed with flexible mounting options, enhanced serviceability and rugged construction, the kiosk can be deployed in virtually any retail environment.

“The introduction of the NCR EasyPoint Advantage enables NCR and third parties to deploy informational and transactional applications across multiple industries, accelerating the rapid adoption that NCR is already seeing with self-service worldwide,” said Mike Webster, vice president and general manager of NCR Self-Service. “Its compact and retail-hardened design eases the process of finding a location for the device, and the kiosk is nimble enough for layout and/or location changes to fit the ever-evolving needs of today’s consumers.”

NCR offers a full range of kiosk peripherals with the NCR EasyPoint Advantage to provide retailers with a flexible, comprehensive solution. This combination of performance, packaging and mounting is intended to enable easy installation in a variety of configurations including tabletop, shelf, pole, wall or pedestal.

The NCR EasyPoint Advantage joins a full line of NCR self-service kiosk solutions –including hardware, software applications and a complete range of services – designed for industries such as retail, financial, hospitality, health care, telecommunications and travel. The NCR EasyPoint Advantage will be introduced at the National Retail Federation’s 96th Annual Convention and Expo, Jan. 14-17, in New York (booth # 1637).
