Executive Vice President Services and Chief Quality Officer

Peter Dorsman is executive vice president, services and Chief Quality Officer (CQO) for NCR Corporation. Dorsman leads NCR’s Global Services, comprised of more than 11,000 service professionals serving customers on a 24x7x365 basis in more than 90 countries around the world. Dorsman is responsible for all of NCR’s global support services including its outsourced and managed service offerings as well as service delivery and service enablement across NCR’s target industries and markets.
As CQO, Dorsman is also responsible for NCR’s Customer Experience/Continuous Improvement (CX/CI) efforts and the Enterprise Quality organizations and initiatives throughout NCR.
Previously, Dorsman was executive vice president of Global Operations, spearheading the company’s regional manufacturing model and the opening of two new manufacturing facilities – in Columbus, GA in North America and in Manaus, Brazil. Dorsman was appointed by the U.S. Commerce Secretary in 2012 to serve as one of 25 members of the Manufacturing Council, the principal private sector committee advising the Commerce Secretary on the state of U.S. manufacturing.
Dorsman also led the company’s Industry Solutions Group (ISG) which supports overall sales enablement and the conception of NCR’s product solutions through to fulfillment -- providing more influence and impact on the entire end-to-end customer experience. In addition, he served as vice president and general manager of NCR’s Systemedia Division, now named Interactive Printer Solutions.
Prior to 2006, Dorsman was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Standard Register, a provider of information solutions, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. He was also the senior vice president of that company’s Document Management and Systems Division.
Before his role at Standard Register, Dorsman served for nearly 20 years at NCR in various marketing and sales leadership roles, including vice president of worldwide industry marketing.
Dorsman is a member of the board of directors for Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT). He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1977.
